Founded in 1984 to meet a pressing need for agricultural repair services in the region, Machineries A.B. inc. quickly added several strings to its bow by offering machining and welding services, as well as a diverse inventory of parts of all kinds.

New administration, same excellent service 

In 2004, the company’s founder, Mr. Renald Baril, decided to sell his company. Ms. Hélène Baril and Mr. Alain Tessier, both employees for several years, therefore bought the company in February 2005.

A winning association

Shortly after, the new owners met with Mr. Sylvain Dubois, then owner of Hydraulique Plus 04. Following discussions in May 2005, the two companies merged. Machineries A.B. Inc., the new company, then offered its extensive clientele a more comprehensive and diversified service, while also leveraging the considerable expertise of Hydraulique Plus 04.

To look to the future with optimism

After several years of service, Alain and Hélène wished to sell their shares in the company. In February 2013, Sylvain Dubois and Sébastien Audy, a recent addition to the company, jointly acquired it. Sébastien, trained in mechanical design, became a valuable asset to an already well-established team. The company, with its well-established reputation, continues to offer a wide range of high-quality services.

In January 2014, Machineries A.B. Inc. acquired Hardy log loaders, a company renowned for its high quality standards—standards we uphold. We now offer a wide range of log loaders designed to handle your forestry work. It’s worth noting that we powder-coat this equipment to preserve its quality.
